Jun 14, 2013 · 1. Finish the main game on any difficulty to unlock New Game Plus (ng+). 2. Select "Continue New Game Plus", and play through the Hometown/prologue chapter. 3. When you're in control of Joel again, in chapter 2, pause the game, and let it auto-save, and then quit to the main menu. 4. Go to "Chapters" and select the first chapter.
Not sure if thats even possible. But the new apartment visit system doesnt work well with that so far. On one V I have two requests to visit and on another I only get one despite having romanced more than one. That system definatelly needs tuning, should have been tuned better before it came out. Of course Im playing with cheats.
Rjmhart 8 years ago #2. The manual save is basically just creating a hard save of the last checkpoint. It's not like you can stealth kill a few enemies, and get a hard save at that point. They're sort of the same thing. With the hard save you could always revert to a prior check point with whatever ammo/supplies you had at that time.

You don't have to worry about that. It might feel like you're going to at some point, but once you start getting low, enemies will drop more. All you have to do is get a kill for them to drop enough ammo to net you 2-3 more kills if you're accurate.
